When designing the Gramercy Marble x Laminam collection, we addressed the need to create a unique and luxurious table. The eye is drawn to the handcrafted, striking base of the furniture and the oval Laminam sintered quartz top. It is a combination of sintered quartz with steel in a warm matte white finish and MDF in the color of the table base. The solid steel base ensures stability, fitting perfectly into both modern and classic interiors.
Every detail has been refined with the precision characteristic of our family workshop, making this piece a unique work of functional art.

The table top is made of LAMINAM sintered quartz from the I Naturali soft touch collection, featuring a delicate satin texture that feels warm to the touch, without gloss. Additionally, the unique oval shape of the top is emphasized with MDF, cut at the appropriate angle to reveal the thin surface of the sintered quartz while enhancing its elegance. These carefully refined details complement each other beautifully, creating an exceptionally elegant top with a sophisticated shape. The table top shape, measuring 180 cm x 90 cm at its widest points, was individually applied to a slab format of 3240 mm x 1620 mm to select the appropriate veining pattern (the full process can be found in the AS Home X Laminam highlight on our Instagram profile).
Cooperation with the large-format slab manufacturer Laminam allows us — and therefore our clients — to choose the slab, veining, and color tone while maintaining all technical requirements specified by the manufacturer, making each table unique and individual. Sintered quartz is a factory-produced pattern imitating natural stone, repeatable and controlled. It is made from powdered natural stones, but the pattern is printed only on the top surface, remaining uniform in cross-section. Large-format slabs are fired at high temperatures, ensuring resistance to scratches, abrasion, high temperatures, and stains; they do not absorb water and maintain hygiene.
The table base is made of powder-coated steel profiles with a subtle matte structure (without gloss), giving the piece a very elegant and modern appearance, while the white color adds lightness and refinement. The color can also be customized individually. The full palette of powder coatings is available on our website in the materials section. The total table height is 76 cm.
The entire design can be personalized (the top can be made in a different shape, from a different slab, and the leg shape and color can also be changed).

The creation of this collection was both exciting and challenging. We first had to understand the technological applications and potential of sintered quartz stone. We wanted the entire AS Home X Laminam line to evoke a natural atmosphere, which is why we used patterns from the I Naturali collection—where the beauty, elegance, and strength of Italian Calacatta marble are translated into large-format ceramic slabs.
The collection includes the Gramercy Marble dining table, featuring a sintered stone tabletop in a distinctive oval shape, and the Greenwich Marble mirrored sideboard, where the sintered stone fronts form a continuous, beautifully veined cashmere quartz pattern.
Care and maintenance of sintered quartz
Maintaining LAMINAM surfaces is simple and does not require any special precautions. For routine cleaning, simply use a microfiber cloth dampened with water and a neutral detergent. Wipe the surface with the cloth, rinse with water, and thoroughly dry.
In case of any stubborn dirt, precision cleaning is recommended. Always test the effectiveness of the product on a small area before cleaning. Detailed guidelines can be found on the website www.laminam.com.
Care and maintenance of painted steel
Painted steel should be maintained regularly to preserve its aesthetic appearance and protect the surface from scratches and corrosion. For cleaning, a soft, damp cloth or sponge with a mild detergent is sufficient. After wiping, the surface should be thoroughly dried to prevent streaks.
Abrasive cleaners, solvents, alcohol, or cleaning powders should not be used, as they can damage the coating.
